The website of Liz Steel announced an inspiring challenge, and the goal is rather simple but not easy: sketching 100 people in one week. Starting today, March 6th until Friday the 10th.
Living in the woods in a new country where even train stations are empty is a delight on normal days but also a little more challenging to find some people to sketch.
While Swedes eat Semlor the days before the Lent, in Belgium it’s all about craziness. Since I tried explaining the medieval parades and voil jeanetten, I played a review video of Aalst Carnaval to quickly paint some people as they passed by. Day one, accomplished!
Anyone else participating? Would love to see your process/results/inspirations.
