After returning to Sweden, my plants showed me loud and clear they did not appreciate me being away.
And at this point, I didn’t even know about the bits of chaos that were coming my way…

First, catching up on sketches from Antwerp and driving back north:

Waking up with a basement filled with water:

Insurance sent a guy to fix the roof of our old shed after the storm. Now we have a great sturdy roof on a house of cards.

A slow start of bright greens makes the north look like spring while the temperature would still be classified as winter in other parts of the world:

More work around the house (not related to the water problem, at least not thát water problem). They drank Red Bull at 8 in the morning. Brrr.

We went to Stockholm for an exhibition about drawing. The week before the weather had been super nice, but that day we had all 4 seasons, from bright sunlight to tormenting hail and freezing wind.

Just a treehouse rotting away in the woods. I like this place.

In May, I joined the Patreon sessions of Emma Carlisle and Frances Ives.

Lots of birds, experiments with ink inspired by Frances, and exploring bister.
The colours I naturally lean towards are autumnal, so with the zine I’m making in mind, I’m trying forcing myself to add more green, yellow, brighter blue, perhaps some pink.
